Matt Pelot
Matt Pelot is the Middle School Athletic Director, High School Assistant Athletic Director, and a Middle School PE teacher. He began his career as a teacher and coach in Upson County followed by Gwinnett County, and then spent six years working as a PE teacher, varsity football offensive coordinator and head golf coach at Westminster. Matt received a BS degree from the University of West Georgia.
Why Whitefield: Whitefield has built a community that leans and loves on one another. God is doing amazing things on Whitefield’s campus, and I am honored to be a part of it all. My family and I have loved joining a Christ-centered community that doesn't shy away from its identity and pours into the whole student/athlete.
Why I love my job: I love building relationships with people. Teaching and coaching allow me the opportunity to do so on a daily basis with children, colleagues, and families.
On a personal note: My wife Amber and I have four boys: Rhett, Reid, Rhodes, and Ridge.
